Take Your Swimming to the Next Level

With our group swim programs, you can learn to swim, improve your swimming ability or advance to the next level of fitness and skill. The YWCA Swim and Masters programs were developed by our expert Aquatics team. Levels are designed to support you in meeting your swim goals whether you're a beginner or seasoned swimmer! Our experienced and trained lifeguards are certified in Water Safety Instruction & Coaching. They can accommodate varying skill and fitness levels - you'll get the guidance, support and motivation to succeed. Class sizes have been reduced to support a safe learning environment.

POLICIES

  • We cannot guarantee a specific instructor or the same instructor for all of your group lessons. All instructors are trained to teach to lesson plans and can pick up from your previous session.
  • The facility is closed on Statutory Holidays

YWCA SWIM LEVEL 1 | LEARN

This program is designed for the new swimmer or those with little formal swim training. Increase your confidence in the water and become proficient with basic swim strokes.

YWCA SWIM LEVEL 2 | DEVELOP

This program is for the swimmer who is ready for the next step. You will further develop freestyle and backstroke and will be introduced to breaststroke and learn new swimming progressions.

YWCA SWIM COMBO LEVEL 2/3 | DEVELOP & COMPLETE

This program is for the swimmer that has a strong foundation with the basics and is ready for new challenges. This program is a great stepping stone for those who are interested in developing a swim fitness routine, preparing for their first triathlon or competitive swim event.

YWCA Masters

This program is great for swimmers who want a regular group swim workout. This is for the advanced swimmer or triathlete who is familiar with the language of the workout, all four strokes and seeking a great fitness challenge.
