YWCA Freestyle Clinic

Taught by an instructor with decades of experience in competitive swimming, this clinic will help increase your speed, endurance, and overall understanding of how to maximize your workouts and achieve your swim goals. The session will focus exclusively on drills specific to freestyle or front crawl.

YWCA Treading Water Clinic

This clinic combines light conditioning with essential water‑confidence skills. Participants will learn how to remain upright in deep water while conserving energy, controlling breath, and using proper technique. The goal is to increase safety, confidence, and endurance in the deep end.

YWCA Speed Clinic

This clinic is designed to help swimmers improve overall speed and efficiency. Taught by a former National Water Polo player with decades of experience in competitive swimming, participants will learn innovative drills that focus on streamlining, power, and technique. Each session is a one‑hour coached swim workout with limited spots to ensure a strong student‑to‑coach ratio.

YWCA Flip Turn Clinic

Have you ever wanted to move faster and more efficiently off the wall? Taught by an athlete on Canada’s National Lifeguard Championship Team, this clinic introduces both open turns and flip turns using clear, coached progressions and targeted drills. Participants will gain confidence and technique through hands‑on practice.
