Job Description
The Sales & Marketing Manager owns membership and program revenue growth for the YWCA Health & Fitness Club. You will lead the end‑to‑end sales funnel (inbound/outbound, corporate partnerships, tours), manage CRM hygiene and reporting, and coordinate onboarding and campaigns in collaboration with the Member Experience and Fitness teams. The role also leads one Digital Marketing Specialist and works closely with YWCA Marketing to execute brand‑compliant, data‑driven campaigns.
The YWCA Health & Fitness Club is one of YWCA BC’s social enterprises. Located on Hornby Street in downtown Vancouver, the 30,000-square-foot adult facility features a gym, pool and fitness studios, and plays an important role in generating revenue that helps fund YWCA BC programs and services across the community.
What you’ll be doing:

Own annual/monthly sales targets (joins, net growth, corporate partners) with weekly forecast and pipeline management.

Meet a personal quota through daily outbound activity and tour conversions; design/deliver high‑standard tours and coach Member Services on close techniques.

Manage inbound leads with speed‑to‑lead SLAs and cadence testing; set and enforce lead routing rules.

Own CRM statuses, tasks, sources and dashboards to maintain data integrity and visibility.

Design and manage the full new‑member onboarding journey with Member Experience and Fitness teams to drive early engagement and retention.

Generate daily leads through community outreach, events, partners and digital triggers; expand corporate partner portfolio and offers.

Lead and coach the Digital Marketing Specialist via weekly sprints; QA creative; personally execute ~0.4 FTE of marketing tasks.

Execute approved marketing strategies with YWCA Marketing (brand/paid/SEO/content); localize offers and track performance.

Manage the annual marketing communications budget: plan/allocate, track in‑flight spend, reconcile month‑end within brand/fiscal guidelines.

Align calendars with Fitness/Ops to ensure capacity and launch readiness; provide feedback loops and board‑ready roll‑ups.
What you’ll need:

Quota‑carrying sales leadership and CRM pipeline management experience

Digital marketing fluency (copy/asset QA, paid/social/SEO) and campaign analytics

Coaching, presentation and partner negotiation skills

Post‑secondary education; 5+ years sales/marketing with a quota; leadership experience (Bachelors preferred, not required)

Pay Rate: $39.34 per hour
