Event Description

Technology is everywhere—and learning how to use it confidently can make a big difference in daily life. These workshops are specially designed for single mothers and survivors of intimate partner violence who want to feel more comfortable with digital tools. Building your digital skills can help you stay safe online, access important services, connect with your community, and take steps toward greater independence.

We're excited to offer six Digital Literacy Workshops across two locations, all focused on practical tech skills in a welcoming, supportive environment.

To make it easier for you to join, we provide:

  • Loaner laptops for use during workshops
  • Technology refreshers and one-on-one support
  • Trauma-informed facilitation by trained YWCA frontline staff
  • A welcoming space where learning can happen at your own pace

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless otherwise noted.
