The YWCA Hotel You Remember

For generations, people knew this place as the YWCA Hotel.

YWCA BC first opened its doors in Vancouver in 1897, providing housing and support to women arriving in the city for education or employment.

In 1995, the hotel moved to its current home at 733 Beatty Street. Today, it has a new name: Hotel Willo. But its connection to YWCA BC remains.

The name has changed. The purpose continues.
