Job Futures 55+

YWCA Job Futures 55+ is a free 10-week employment program that prepares job seekers who are 55+ to achieve sustainable employment through skills training and employment supports. 

Program Highlights

  • Group-based workshops on career exploration, employment options and health and wellness 

  • One-to-one support and individualized training plans 

  • Skills training or upgrading 

  • Job search support

  • Transportation support 

Participants Must Be

  • 55+ years of age, not actively participating in, and receiving financial supports from another provincially or federally funded labour market program (participants on EI are allowed in the program)

  • Resident of Metro Vancouver legally entitled to work in Canada

  • Unemployed or precariously employed and not a full-time student
