YWCA Believe is a free employment program for self-identified LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse newcomers and refugees.

Program Highlights

One-to-one career coaching support
Workshops covering resume and cover letter development, interview skills, and outness in the workplace
Transportation and childcare support for eligible participants
Referral to community partners
Wraparound services available

Participants Must Be

Self-identified LGBTQIA+ and/or gender-diverse newcomer who are also one of the below:

A Permanent Resident in Canada
Convention Refugee or Protected Person who has been granted refugee status in Canada

Join our informative session introducing an employment program tailored to support LGBTQIA+ newcomers. Discover how we provide specialized resources and a welcoming community to empower individuals in navigating their career paths with confidence and inclusivity.

First Tuesday of every month at 4:00 pm
