Event Description
An empowering space for self-identifying women who have experienced violence. We run several drop-in workshops a month ranging from expressive arts, to yoga and grief walks. All workshops are based in East Vancouver, close to the Broadway and Commercial Skytrain Station.

Dancing with Pain with Yin Choi

This compassionate workshop invites you to bring presence to pain and move through it with gentleness. You will be guided through self-care and attunement practices, incorporating elements of Reiki, meditation, and Authentic Movement.
Yin Choi is a therapist and interdisciplinary dance artist with over 20 years of training in martial arts, Reiki, expressive arts therapy, and somatic practices. She has been part of the YWCA community since 2007.
