Volunteer Description
The PEACE Program provides individual and group counselling for children and youth, ages 3 to 18, who have witnessed and/or experienced abuse. We are looking for a volunteer to assist with the set up and hosting of our monthly meetings so that our staff can focus on facilitation and supporting the families.
Responsibilities:
Assist with set-up (table, room, materials for activities) before the event.
Help in welcoming families and offer something to drink to the mothers (coffee/tea).
Support with distribution of materials and make sure that everyone has a space, and everyone has what they need
Help to distribute snack to families during break
Childminding assistance
Assist with clean up after meeting.
